Services We Offer

Physical Therapy, Manual Therapy, Pilates Mat Classes

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I aim to offer evidence-based medical services in order to meet my patients’ needs. I’m highly committed to offering high quality care to the Santa Cruz community. I use a combination of Manual Therapy, Pilates Rehabilitation, and more traditional PT exercises for each patient. It’s taken me years of hard work to get where I am today, and you are in good hands with me, PT-wise and Pilates-wise. Research is finally catching up, and Pilates is now being shown to be an effective pain prevention and pain management tool. Pilates is an effective rehab tool!

Taking Care of You

Through a total body movement approach to medicine, I view each patient as a whole rather than a single symptom to be treated. You aren't a number in the computer, rather a person with health and/or fitness goals. Pilates-Rehab is one of many 'procedures' I use when rehabbing your injury. The PMA defines Pilates as 'a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. With systematic practice of specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns, Pilates has proven itself invaluable not only as a fitness endeavor, but also as an important adjunct to professional sports training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds'. Your health deserves proper care and attention. I offer 55 minute, 1:1 sessions with a Physical Therapist (me) only - no aides. Your body with thank you.

Paige Czelusta

Physical Therapist  &  Pilates Instructor

I enjoy working with people who are motivated to achieve their wellness goals. I love empowering people and teaching to take control of their own health. The combination of Physical Therapy and Pilates, to me, is the perfect recipe for integrating movement of the body while motivating the spirit.

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has trained in Pilates through Polestar Pilates. I graduated from USC in 2010 where I received my DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy). Since then, I have worked in outpatient orthopedic setting and have a strong background in manual therapy, receiving a post graduate level manual therapy certificate through Kaiser Hayward's manual skills course. I am comfortable treating a wide variety of injuries in patients of all ages. There is a special place in my heart for treating shoulder pain and low back pain - injuries which I have experienced myself.

I discovered Pilates while I was rehabbing my shoulder from an injury I sustained while swimming from San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge. Pilates 3x/week for 3 months made me a faster swimmer, abolished my low back pain, and was an integral reason why I was able to train and successfully swim the English Channel (a relay in 2014).

I live in Santa Cruz with my husband, two small children, and a Goldendoodle. We enjoy walking along West Cliff Drive, jogging and biking in Wilder Ranch, and all things food and drink.
